The Journal of Youth in Medical Science

Formal publication follows a defined editorial process. Submission is a request for consideration and does not guarantee acceptance.

The editorial process

  1. Submission
  2. Editorial screening
  3. Review
  4. Revision
  5. Acceptance or rejection
  6. Publication
  7. DOI assignment when available

Peer review

A manuscript is described as peer reviewed only if it has passed the journal’s defined peer-review process. Not every submission is peer reviewed.

Preprint origin

If a journal article originated as a Nishan preprint, the journal record and the preprint are linked, and the preprint remains online.
