Preprint policy
Nishan Preprint Policy
Preprints let you make your manuscript publicly available and citable while you pursue publication elsewhere.
What a preprint is
- Preprints are publicly accessible manuscripts.
- Preprints are not formal journal publication in The Journal of Youth in Medical Science.
- Preprints may be submitted elsewhere, subject to the target journal’s policies.
- Preprints receive persistent identifiers when DOI registration is available.
- Later publications should be linked to the preprint.
- Preprint versions remain part of the scholarly record.
- Authors are responsible for rights and appropriate disclosure.
Your responsibilities
Not every external journal accepts submissions that have been posted as preprints. Before posting, check the submission and preprint policies of any journal you intend to submit to.
